About Me:
Gender equity and health are very important to me. I am always looking for new opportunities to bring together social justice and health communication to create a healthier, happier, and more equitable world.
I am the Coordinator of Wellness Education at the Wentworth Institute of Technology by day, and a freelance writer/blogger by night.
My writing has been published at the Huffington Post, Ms. Magazine blog, Sociological Images, Alternet.org (and Guernica Magazine), Scarleteen, Role/Reboot, The Jewish Daily Forward’s Sisterhood blog, and The Daily Hampshire Gazette. In my spare time, you can find me camping, crafting, or getting lost in a good story.
I also love to travel. I recently spent two months backpacking in South America; check it out at Grrrl Trek. You can also read about my trip to Belize at Better Belize It.
